At the peak of springtime beauty in the Pyrenees, we gather to shake off the cold of winter, return to adventures and prepare for the intensity of summer.

It is a time for renewal and growth, letting go of the past, and embracing the future with clarity.

Every morning starts with time on your yoga mat; to greet your body with presence and awareness and ease into your day with kindness.

Every afternoon includes a dynamic movement session where you can expect to get your heart pumping, try something new and have a lot of fun!

Breathe

Prayanama, or breathwork is an essential pillar of wellbeing.

Each day will include simple and effective practices to help restore proper functional breathing and induce various physiological and psychological changes.

 There is plenty of time in the day to relax by the pool, have a nap, or book yourself in for a private massage treatment. In the evening we will often gather around the cozy fireplace or snuggle up to gaze at the stars.

No experience is required, and whilst we encourage you to fully embrace the experience, none of the activities are mandatory. Above all, they are an invitation to try new things, and discover what suits you.

The Team

Pippa Moss

YOGA TEACHER & FREEDIVER

Pippa leads yoga and breathwork practices on the retreat. Her classes will lead you through intelligently sequenced vinyasas, combining traditional yoga asana alongside modern movement techniques, informed by sound anatomical knowledge.

Anthony Heilmann

STUNTMAN & SHIATSU THERAPIST

Anthony is a professional stunt man, firefighter, kung fu black belt, shiatsu masseuse, qualified Oxygen Advantage Coach, and an all-round mover!  He loves to use the great outdoors as his gym and is passionate about helping you to connect movement practices to nature, challenge your limits, and have fun!

Jo Moss

CIRCUS ARTIST & ACTOR

Jo is a professionally trained circus artist and actor. His has great affinity for playful movement and his ability to make everyone in the room feel welcome and at ease, is a true gift. He leads exploratory movement sessions in which you can expect the unexpected and be sure to leave with new friends and a big smile on your face. 

Matt Saro

AROMATHERAPIST & TCM PRACTITIONER

Matt travelled the world for 17 years, working as a medical pharmacist. He became interested in Yoga and subsequently trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Aromatherapy. He offers group sessions which explore our intimate connection with plants, as well as individual therapy sessions.

THE VENUE

Mas Vilalte

Our home for the week is Mas Vilalte, a lovingly restored French Hamlet in the Pyrenees mountains, near the village of Corsavy. Complete peace and seclusion with breath-taking views await. Surrounded by acres of pristine forest, no noise but the sounds of nature to enjoy.

FOOD & ACCOMODATION

Comfortable ensuite rooms ensure restful sleep and a natural bio-swimming pool, sauna and Turkish steam room will help you wind down and relax. Nourish yourself with wholesome and organic vegetarian meals, freshly prepared in the Mas Vilalte kitchen.

Arrival – afternoon of Sunday 12 May

Departure – after brunch on Saturday 18th May

Please make sure adequate travel insurance has been purchased to account for any unforeseen circumstances.

The nearest airport is Perpignan (1hr20 drive). Girona (2hr drive) and Barcelona (3hr drive) also have many international flights available. The nearest train station is Perpignan. We can help you arrange taxi transfers from the airport or train station and will try to group participants to help share costs and reduce environmental impact. You may also consider hiring a car.
