Breathwork, what to expect? The breathwork session is a guided exploration of some simple Pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques. Through controlled breathing patterns, you will learn to harness the power of your breath to cultivate focus, release tension, and access a state of calm resilience. This practice serves as a bridge between movement and cold exposure, preparing the body and mind for the next stages of the retreat. |
Ice... in my bath? Why would I do that? Stepping into an ice bath can be challenging at first, but the benefits make it well worth the effort. The initial shock quickly gives way to a deep sense of clarity and calm as your body adjusts. Physically, the cold helps reduce inflammation, ease muscle soreness, and speed up recovery. Mentally, it builds resilience, enhances focus, and leaves you feeling refreshed and energized.
